Polyethylene Armour Plates manufactured by MKU provide
the best protection at the lowest possible weights.
These Plates are manufactured using only the purest,
most suitable materials. Their specialized manufacture
has been tested, certified and approved by some of
the best domestic and international laboratories.
Polyethylene Armour Plates from MKU offer excellent
multi-hit capabilities and are safe from secondary
fragment impacts. They are impregnable, crack-resistant
and are also resilient to UV radiations.
Water, sunlight, temperature changes, acids and oils
have absolutely no effect on them.

SAPI
Amongst the most advanced Body Armour Upgrade Plates
in the MKU arsenal, SAPI Armour Plates, are manufactured
based on the ‘Small Arms Protective Inserts’ deployed
by the US Army.
Highly protective in nature, they are capable of providing
enhanced multi-hit protection of three shots against
three different rounds with minimal trauma.
They are designed for maximum comfort.
SAPI Armour Plates have a multi-curved shape and size
that allows them to be interchanged between front
and back, which makes them extremely easy to use.
These Armour Plates from MKU are tremendously durable.
Their construction technique is such that there would
be a negligible to nil degradation in their ballistic
capabilities even if they were to be dropped from
an altitude on their strike face side.
SAPI Armour Plates are unaffected by conditions like
hot and cold temperatures and severe vibrations.
These Plates are resistant to fungus growth and exposures
from direct flame, diesel, fuel, water and oil.
They provide protection of upto NIJ Level III+ (while
complying to back face deformation specifications).
They fully contain spall, debris and residual ejections
after ballistic impact. Their temperature shock resistance
allows them to withstand temperatures between -50º
Centigrade and 70º Centigrade (-122º Fahrenheit and
158º Fahrenheit).
SAPI Plates from MKU retain their ballistic capabilities
at 12300m (40354ft).

Cerazone
MKU offers highly cost-effective ballistic protection
through its Cerazone Armour Plates, which can be used
either as Vests or as stand-alone Plates.
Cerazone Armour Plates use Aluminium Oxide (Al2O3)
on the strike face and different composites in backing
configurations. They are available in various shapes,
sizes and specifications.
MKU’s Cerazone Armour has a well-defined system of
spall-lining, ceramic tiles and reinforced composite
backing material.
It functions by destroying the penetrative effect
of the lead-core or hard-core bullet and then absorbs
the remaining energy of the bullet through its composite
backing. The spall-lining protects the user from resulting
secondary fragments.
MKU employs various backing materials in its Cerazone
Armour, such as Dyneema, Aramid and GRP, either alone
or in combination, depending upon the protection,
weight and trauma levels required/specified.
Cerazone Armour Plates from MKU have been tested,
certified and approved by some of the best domestic
and international laboratories.

Cerazone+ Armour Plates are made using highly efficient
ceramics like Silicon Carbide (0.00g/cm cube) and Boron
Carbide, (Density 2.52 g/cm cube) the third hardest
material known to man after diamond and cubic boron
nitride. Cerazone+ Armour Plates from MKU offer enhanced
protection at lighter weights than Cerazone Armour Plates,
while also retaining all other benefits Cerazone Plates
provide.
